Hikaru no Go to air on ImaginAsian dubbed, subtitled (2006-03-10 00:21:19)
Hikaru no Go will air "soon" on ImaginAsian, according to the latest Shonen Jump newsletter. From the newsletter: "This will be, to the best of our knowledge, the first time a national TV network will be simultaneously airing both the subtitled and dubbed versions of an anime: the dubbed version will be airing in an afternoon or morning time slot, while the subtitled version will be in prime-time."

So, this ImaginAsian TV thing... I know we have a rep who posts here, but how widespread is it really? Interesting to see it airing with subtitles though! But it's a specialty station (going by the name anyway /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif) so I guess it's not unheard of or anything. Still nice for any HnG fans who watch TV, have that channel and want to see it subbed.

And I guess they'll also get to see it a hell of a lot faster than the people buying the quarterly DVDs =P

Believe me, we'd love to be there. If you wanna help us by annoying them, we'd appreciate it. ^_-

BTW, we will be announcing some other anime soon. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Muahaha...
