Bt'X Question

I've been picking up Bt'X recently and noticed after a certain point that the covers stop being foil embossed. Was this due to a limited first printing or did Tokyopop just drop the foil after a certain volume?

Also, any edits known for the series?

Odds are they dropped the foil for the same reason they stopped putting color pages in Mahoromatic, Bt'X sales have been pretty weak and don't justify fancy extras.
