Hmm, nice. I was one of the ones who did enjoy Aquarion, mostly for the music and the overall plot. Sure it could be corny at times, but it was a good type of corny(mmm corn).

ok, who do we have to kill to get this licensed in R1!!!?
This strikes me as a Bandai series all the way(think Bandai Visual had a hand in it). It isn't a bad series per say, I enjoyed the mechas and the music, but I wouldn't go in expecting it to be the next greatest thing.

Well I'm baffled as to where they think they can take the story after S1. Prequel? Sequel? /images/graemlins/stunned0.gif I wouldn't have guess the show did well enough in Japan to warrent a second season but maybe it did. It will be interesting to see what they come up with and to hear more music by Yoko Kanno, if she's returning, but overall I thought the original Sousei no Aquarion's story wasn't really set up to handle any sequals (though a Prequel might work).

I'm baffled too. Considering the way the 1st season ended, I don't know how they are going to continue the story.

Awesome. I knew a second series or OVA would eventually come, the big old "to be continued?" at the end was a big hint imo /images/graemlins/sweat200.gif

Yep, it's definitely a Bandai series, but BV wasn't the company involved. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
