School Rumble - Season 2.

Well, season 2 starts this Sunday in Japan. The official website (http://www.school-rumble.net/) has been updated for it, and they have info on the first episode, which will be called "ScrambleがReloaded！ SuperstarにRequest！ ScandalousなRestart！" BTW, although the song is not going to be the main theme for the second season, I love the Scramble reference in the first episode title (I assume the "superstar" one is a reference to Yui Horie.) I can't wait for this show to start o(^-^)o .

Search-function netted me this, so I'm assuming this will be the official SR-2 thread.

Highlights:


First up was a funny period-piece that's most likely a Kenshin-parody or something.


Then, the Onigiri-faction (Harima-Yakumo faction) gets hilariously re-started right away with Tenma lecturing Yakumo about boys and totally misunderstanding Harima and Yakumo's "relationship". She pretty much gave them her blessing coz she thinks Harima's not that bad. Just try to imagine Harima's reaction. HAHAHAHA!!! btw, Itoko's hawt again. /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif


Next, the Karasuma-x-Tenma faction (whatever it's called). Karasuma and some classmates formed a Prince-like band with Karen as the lead-singer, and gotten a producer. However, Tenma thought she was in it. Karasuma then gave Tenma a turtle. /images/graemlins/sweat200.gif


The best part was the last part. The Flag-faction (Eri-Harima) renewal is underway with both Mikoto and Akira ribbing Eri with the stuff that happened during S1's sports-meet and stuff. The Hanai-Yakumo faction hit a brick wall with Hanai getting dealt a severe blow with all the school-talk about Harima and Yakumo being THE school couple. Awesome confrontation between Hanai and Harima. HAHAHA!!!

Adding salt to the wound, Yakumo visited Tenma and Tenma happily made a blushing Yakumo give an <span style='color:#dddddd;background:#dddddd'>aisobento</span> to Harima. In front of Hanai. HAHAHAHA!!!

Also, seems like 2-C's rival class is again challenging them, with Karasuma pulling a Ruri-Ruri. /images/graemlins/cool.gif


After the ED-song, there was a funny last bit with the Itoko-fanclub regarding the scouting intelligence on the supposedly new girls of SR: Sagano Megumi, Tumugi Yuki, Otuka Mai, and Mihara Kozue.

The only lowpoint(s) on SR-2 is that both the new OP and ED songs are meh. The animation on 'em were kewl, tho.

Just to add to this, it looks like the episode from the fake next ep preview from ep 26 of last season will actually be the next episode. I'm really glad this series is back. I couldn't wipe the stupid grin off my face the whole time I was watching. /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif
