The Armored Trooper Votoms Uoodo City Discussion Thread is here (http://forums.animeondvd.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=1309856&page=2&view=colla psed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1)

It has been 3 months since Uoodo City was burned to a cinder by the 3 way battle between the Secret Society controlled police force, the Melkian Military and the one man army, Chirico Cuvie.

Chirico now is working as a mercenary for hire meeting old friend and new enemies in the steamy Jungles of Kummen were mercenary armies are facing rebel guerrillas <span style='color:#dddddd;background:#dddddd'>secretly backed up by the Secret Society and using this battlefield as a testing ground for a new Perfect Soldier Ypsilon</span>

as CPM has released a new remasterded version of this classic in R1 for a very attractive price, The <font color="red">Kult of Kaiser</font> wants to open discussion of the classic Ryosuke Takahashi title, bring this classic mecha show into the limelight and create new fans

Spoilers might happen so I suggest the use of spoiler tags when the need arises for info conserning future releases of the series

EDIT: It's all been clarified.

I love the arc so far. Though I dislike Kan Yu, and Coconna is still annoying.

Of the four arcs, this has to be the best. Only thing is - I really can't stand Kann Yu.

I love Coconna. Nice to see her out of those Hammerpants and into that cute angel dress.

Kan Yu IS retarded, but he's made to be disliked. He doesn't know the meaning of many words... up to and including secret, mission, or any combination of the two.

Really liked Chirico's team otherwise. They bounced off and work with each other well. Kiderra was my favorite.

Although I thought the Uoodo City arc got a bit repetitive, the second arc, along with the first half of the next one, is my favorite part of the show. Probably my favorite thing that I've seen from Ryousuke Takahashi. Still haven't seen the last arc, but I really want to finish this series someday.
