I was clearing out my closet the other day and found all my VHS tapes of this series. I've decided I want to upgrade it to DVD (no VHS player anymore) but have seen the odd mention of a collection. Obviously since I bought it all once before I'd rather not pay a huge amount (especially as I have to import from R1) and I'm not in a big hurry, so does anyone who has been following the release better than I have know what this is?

It says volume 1, but I don't trust DDD's listings much. Obviously if this contains the whole series it's a no-brainer to get this release.

Failling that, does the premium eyeball set contain the whole series? Ginrei specials too? It says it is both 4 and 5 discs on DDD's site /images/graemlins/depresse.gif I'd rather get economy packs if they are really coming out and have everything, but if the eyeball is complete and available now I may just plump for that, despite the difficulties I'll have storing the darn thing.

A thousand thanks to anyone who can help me part with some money. I've looked around the site and done a forum search but couldn't find quite the information I needed. And the distributor's website sucks in my browser.

I'd just ditch DDD with this one and go with DVD Pacific (http://www.dvdpacific.com/search.asp?title=giant+robo) if you want it now. They seem to know what it is they're selling.
