Anime scenes in Southeast Asia

Been enjoying the scenes of Blood+ set in Vietnam. Have there ever been scenes of other anime set in Southeast Asia? It doesn't have to be the entire series but should be at least almost an episode long. And by Southeast Asia I mean the following countries:
Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, Vietnam.

If you don't mind it being a bit in the future, most of Mobile Suit Gundam 08th MS Team was set there. That's the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

An episode of Zipang is set in Malaysia. The series itself takes place in the Pacific during WWII.
