CDPlus.com - Reliable?

Well, I've been trying to find a good Canadian retailer and CD Plus seemes to be pretty good. Especially when I buy 2 or more in stock item, it will be upgraded to xpresspost which will only take a day to arrive!

I don't want to use DVDBoxoffice.com anymore because you don't know when the ordered item will be actually shipped (once I ordered a boxset from them and even after 2 months, it wasn't shipped!) and their e-mail responses are so slow (it usually takes like 2 days until they reply).

Has anyone used CDPlus.com before? Are they reliable and fast?

I placed a few orders there but they were taking weeks to get things in stock. I cancelled the orders.

Good thing their customer service is responsive.

You have to wait. They ship preorders roughly 2 weeks to 3 weeks after the release date, that is just when the stock comes in. Do not expect it to ship early or on the release date. The shipping is fast and after about 25 orders they haven't made a mistake. Prices are good, not great. Better than Amazon.ca and the shipping is less. After Amazon's recent shipping price increases and the rise in the Canadian dollar I might also preorder from Amazon.com depending on price etc.
