Anime Character Appreciation Thread Week 8 - X TV

Much like in the previous threads. As I've been watching and enjoying more animes, I've noticed that there are quite a few characters be they main or secondary who either go unnoticed or underappreciated within the fandom.
I thought I would create a thread that would redeem that as we could discuss why we like/dislike a certain character and why we think they go unnoticed/underappreciated...

I will focus on one series per week and pick a different character from the series each day. They will have their own colour so please answer in the same colour to make things easier. If you feel I've missed someone who deserves a mention PM me.

Satsuki Yatouji and BEAST


Please post your opinions in the same colour as the one attributed to the character so it's easy to follow when more characters are added to the list.

Very underutilized. Kanoe virtually did nothing but eavesdrop on her sister's plans. I don't think she even revealed whatever info she found out to the DoEs, as Kamui of Earth did things his way.

Her revelation that she was Hinoto's sister didn't add much to her character.

Next up is the perky:

A really good side character in the manga that was completely ruined in the anime by miscasting and cute-ifying her. Yuzuriha in the manga was strong and spoke her mind and with her smile she even brought Kamui out of his brooding from time to time. Rereading the manga after the anime had made me hate her made me realize that I actually liked, and had liked her before, as a character. Too bad the anime wasn't able to show her real strength.

Next character is an intriguing one, I also thought to include another who is very much a part of her. So today's combo is:

Didn't realise I never finished this thread before giving up on this idea. I'll try one more character to see if anyone is game. The links to the other threads are not working as I think the threads got deleted...

Anyway, today's character is:

Arisugawa Sorata

Just realised that the other threads are still existent but they have been archived so if anyone wants to discuss the likes of Sailor Moon, Utena, Ranma, Evangelion, Gankutsuou and a couple of others just look through the threads started by me :)
