Got this email from this eBay user just now. Their screenname didn't come to mind. I checked my feedback (50 finally! Yay!). They aren't listed so, I am like wtf? /images/graemlins/knowital.gif (shoulda been a tip off right away that this email went into the bulk folder for spam)

What really caught my eye was the following from their website:
*posters used for movies, instead of the dvd case pictures.
*lack of any info at all about said movie
*Ordering: This DVD is coming with DVD sleeve only. It is no DVD case and not sealed. (mighty suspicious don't you think?)
*selling movies that aren't on dvd yet. Underworld: Evolution is out on dvd on 6/06/2006, yet this person has a widescreen version on dvd!

This person is a bootlegger so do not buy from them!

Hmm... so it would sound like this site is in Australia; have you tried contacting the big movie studios, since he's also got their titles? I think Fox, Warner, etc, would be more than happy to go after this site...

Actually, let me see if I can get you something. Recall that my job at BestBuy is actually contracting for the studios. So I get access to some things. I'll PM you toll-free numbers for 4 of the studios; you can call them and ask them who you should speak to or e-mail.

Re-Edit-Edit: I was under the impression that the seller was selling a fake cel since the show "Trinity Blood" is one of Gonzo's digitally animated show without traditional animation cels. However Dagger pointed out it is actually a post-production cel made from a background sketch and therefore still a one-of-a-kind cel. Whoops. /images/graemlins/shy00000.gif

I have to assume that series was computer generated and would therefore not have cels, but it would be nice if the original poster elaborated.

ok, ok, ok... Trinity Blood is a GONZO produced title therefore it's all digital animation. Animation cels aren't even created.

Agh! One of those things! Kinda like those Evangelion Cel-club reproduction cels that I see floating around. So I guess technically it could be a unique and one of a kind thing if it is made from a sketch. Will go back and re-edit post.
