I suppose the idea of a record company executive trying to sell an anime was unprecedented. Everything we did then was unprecedented.
But there was undoubtedly a thrill with every breakthrough we made.

Yeah, but there isn't much he said that wasn't unknown, aside the fact that he IS an Eva producer /images/graemlins/tongue.gif. FYI, he's the the main reason the show was made, yet he was never once (formally) credited as the show's producer; that "honor" went to TV Tokyo and NAS reps (this has happened quite a few times with King Records & TX shows in the past as well).
Other misc. info:
At King Records, he's also the general manager of Star Child Records. He's also the president of Gansis (an animation and special effects planning and production company, completely unrelated to King Records, yet they work with King the most due to his position at both places). Gansis's subsidary is animation studio Zexcs -or maybe it was the other way around /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif- (which has worked on a few King/Gansis anime; Da Capo and Sister Princess to name a few) and quite possibly feel -Da Capo, DCSS and Jinki Extend-. It's unknown at the moment if they're related or not... in fact there isn't much known about feel at all (hell, the only info I've been able to drag out is who their producer is /images/graemlins/relief1.gif).
... Damn, that's alot of info /images/graemlins/catgirl0.gif
