Do-wop songs so fit sentimental anime! Never heard of the Poni Tails before, only Shirelles & Chordettes (from American Graffitti & Dirty Dancing soundtracks) & Shangri-Las (Leader of the Pack).

Don't remember the fireflies & kimono episode(s). I'm waiting for box 8 to start a marathon re-watch.

Excellent tribute to Yagami, another Takahashi character who deserves to be more than just a plot device.

The born too late song perfectly fits Yagami and her role in Maison Ikkoku to a damn tee.

(BTW, the KOR music video LD or DVD are excellent, all set to KOR songs, but are made of clips from the whole TV series. I've not seen a DVD on sale for awhile, but the LDs come up on ebay every now & then.)
