I hate people like that otaku fangirl in the video. I remember just the other day, when I was at Suncoast with my friend and we were talking about what to bring for Steve Blum to sign next weekend at Anime Boston and suddenly, this random fat girl comes out of nowhere and she's all like, "Ugh, how can you like those HORRIBLE dub voice actors? Ugh, they all sound like castrated sheepdogs that ate fertilizer. You obviously don't appreciate anime because you watch horribly butchered dubs. Ugh, have you seen Fullmetal Alchemist? Ugh, Adult Swim fucked it up and took out all the blood. UGH! You're probably just a newb so I'm gonna tell you right now, dubs suck."
I just looked at her for a whole minute without blinking. Then I said, "GO FUCK YOURSELF," and walked out while flipping her off. But then I went back 10 minutes later because I realized I never got the DVD I wanted (King Kong).
My point is, many otaku hate dubs for whatever reason and try to push their opinions on others as if they're facts. Then they act like they're better than everyone else and use leet speak like "LOL!" in verbal discussion while rolling their eyes like a preppy schoolgirl. They don't realize that they're really just snobbish assholes with no interests other than anime (they'll go to a frat party where everyone's watching football and be like, "Can we watch Full Moon wo Sagashite after this?"). And of course, they're fat, smelly and have pimples everywhere. These are the types of people to avoid at conventions.
