Silly Ugly/Beautiful World Question

In the Newtype DVD (this months issue), the nipples and bum are censored with a black bar. . .Im assuming this is only for the Newtype DVD and not the real show??

You are correct. They did something similar with their logo covering the "Naughty Bits" on the Newtype DVD a couple of months ago with UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie, but the actual DVD for the series is uncut (Both series are rated TV-MA). /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif

Full nudity visible on the DVDs, and just so you know it doesn't discriminate between ages either in case you have a problem with that kind of thing. There aren't "details" visible, but some people still have a problem with it so I figured I'm mention it.

Sometimes, yes, we do occasionally have to cover a naughty bit or three to make a show adhere to the TV-14 standard of the NTUSA disc. But when we do it we try to make it overtly over-the-top so you know that something's been censored and in a way that you'd guess would only be for the Newtype disc. /images/graemlins/catgirl0.gif
