Sister Princess Re Pure DVD Question.

I was looking on cdjapan for some of the series that I've started collecting in R1 that never finished being released... For Sister Princess, I saw there is the original series (which came out over here) and one called Re Pure (which was not). The thing is, there is a set of 12 disks called Sister Princess Re Pure, and a set of 4 disks called Sister Princess Re Pure -Stories-. Does anyone know if these are different series, or just two different releases for the same series?

When Sister Princess Repure originally aired each episode was divided into two parts. The first part was a typical episode with some of the sisters and their brother involved. The second part of the episode was then dedicated to one of the 12 sisters. The style of artwork in each was different and was kind of like a focus on the said sister.

So as far as I can tell. The 4 Volume set seems to be the normal episodes. While the 12 DVD set is the character focused stories. Still one DVD per sister seems kind of excessive if you ask me. Especially given how short the episodes are. At least being short makes the price less steep, I think...
