Is the Konomini centerfold the same one that was in the Japanese Newtype a few years ago? <_<

It's Hikari in a bikini, as seen in the cover for Vol. 2 (http://videovault.diamondcomics.com/update/july_06/JUL064603.jpg)

Oh. Damn.

*was hoping for the overly-risqué scantily-clad-by-tentacles-or-something Hikari*

With Suzumiya and Kasimasi and H&C II covered, I might just buy a copy (first time in a long time).

With Suzumiya covered, I'm definitely getting it. As if I wasn't going to get it in the first place. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I don't know if its just my copy, but the paper they used for the cover seems just a bit thicker than what they have used in recent months.

There is also a column by voice actress Monica Rial.

Jan Kurotaki's cosplay outfits are Okuni from Samurai Warriors and Eureka from Eureka 7.

The official art section is on Please Teacher.

You know I was thinking about skipping this month after reading what's on the DVD but the Suzumiya article has changed my mind as well.

BTW, I went looking for this today at the local Hastings (it often shows up early there) and had a amusing run in with the help. When I couldn't find the magazine, I asked someone because they keep moving the Anime magazines around and I wasn't going to go home without it unless it really wasn't in.

Anyway, so I asked the lady if NewType USA is in and she says "we don't get that magazine" Since I buy my copies in here quite a bit I was like "eh?!" and I said "no, you've carried it before - it's a big Anime magazine (made a large shape with my hands). An she goes "oh yes, I know which one you mean - I thought by the title you were looking for a alternative lifestyle magazine" /images/graemlins/stunned0.gif. Riight... (and it wasn't in but she thinks maybe next week)

I guess I should have just said "big anime magazine (with the hand jestures)" because the oversized Anime magazine they have problems finding places to put it they know about and remember /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif.
