2006 BOS Anime Mascot Showdown Final: Kyo Sohma Wins!

Whoppee! Its time to unveil the surprise contest that can breath a little life into the now dead teams or boost a pretender into a contender or let a leader break away even more!

Using the fifth man of each team, you know the one sitting on the bench, development squad of one, the red-headed step-childern of the BOS tourney. They will compete to be representive mascot of Monkey Biz and score some points for their respective teams.

Three aspects to this mascot pool in a first place only scores contest. Edit: in my drunken stupor I didn't really think about this too much. Okay overall "winner" of this contest will be the face of BOS tourney future. Huh what does that mean? Well you see, as for the actual points I guess just 10 points for each poll winner, instead of normal scoring. This is because the teams were sorta blindsided by this. Okay dokay?

The three aspects will be:

Image: Which one could pull off the look of a Mascot?

Personality: Which one could act the most like a Mascot?

Aura: Which one really has the spirit to be a Mascot?

Well I could have done something but I'm too lazy for a circus freak show event like this. Of course if any of the team captains or stalker like fans here have any ideas I would post them up quick. Somehow, I think this poll would boil down to the same results as if it was an anime draft. None of us picked our 5th character based on a mascot. Going by that, I think fans will just pick their favorites.

True true, but at least there are twelve options so I don't think it will really affect the tourney much. I say maybe twenty points top, plus what round of the anime draft even came close to be an all male review?

Edit: You know going by the early results I'm not so sure it a popularity contest. If it was I don't think Gokudo would even be on the board. Its interesting how voters are choosing how they will vote. I mean I know why Kyo it taking the image catagory but if it was just the Sohma magic shouldn't he be also storming the Personality and Aura catagories as well? Hmmmm very interesting indeed.

Well Kyo would look adorable as noticed by his chibi form.. but otherwise he's too sullen to be an actual mascot. /images/graemlins/sweat200.gif His personality also doesn't fit..... But yeah imagine wise he's the cutest....

Somehow, I think I have to agree with Nuriko on this one. For quite a few of these characters, it's like putting a square peg in a round hole and puts those teams at a disadvantage and gives there characters little chance to win unless they're voted on based on popularity...

Well, looking at the votes as of right now, Kyo is running away with the first question, tied for first with the second, and two votes from first on the third. If he ends up at the top on all three, he could net his team somewhere around 60 votes which could affect the tourney results.

Nope I changed the scoring at most he could get 30. If there is a tie then the points get split among the winners.
