This is the best place I could find to post this.

I need specific info on the Ai Yori Aoshi PC game made by Hirameki (http://www.hirameki-int.com/appc/products/ai/index.html). I've been through alot of hoops with this. Every description I've seen seems to note "a special English version has been made due to high demand from fans". But does this refer to Japanese with English subs, or an English dub? I emailed TRSI about it and said it was dubbed. I emailed Hirameki and they said it was subbed. Can someone who has the game or has played it tell me for sure what language this is in?
I really would like to get the Japanese version, but if it's the English dub you can count me out in a second.

It's the Japanese with English subs. Got it last Xmas and I'm still trying to get every photograph...^_^

You're sure?
BTW where's the best place to buy it?

It occasionally appears among TRSI's weekly specials. That's where I got my copy for $24.29 (with GA discount). Don't expect anything to advance the story or romance, but it's fun to see all the characters together again. Oddly enough, I got stuck on one of the minigames - but then I have a demented mouse. /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif

You can get the game for 20% off (plus an additional 10% if you're a got anime member) from TRSI during their current sale.

If you're into visual novels, you should check out Ever 17, Hourglass of Summer and Phantom of Inferno as well. All subbed (only). /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif

Edit - Hirameki also has a special going. (http://direct.hirameki-int.com/index.html)

It isn't really a game, is it? The demo was only interactive as far as "click to continue", without ever offering a choice.

As I indicated in my comment, yes there are minigames. As I recall, you have to complete four point-click challenges to advance to the second half of the novel. Compared to real video games, it's pretty simplistic but if you're input device-challenged like me, it can be annoying.
