Hehe; pretty good find. The comic has potential tbh.

Ha! Nice. Now maybe they can explain why less armor on females = more protection.

my take on it is that some naruto character are similar to DBZ characters, Naruto's coloring is like goku's gi and sasuke's is like vegeta.

example:
naruto = goten (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v700/Battle001/1_908fe050-_-risachantag-_-10988901.jpg)

A: Her armor is invisible!

B: She is so uber she doesn't need that much armor.

C: Clothing in general acts as a limiter. Thus the less she wears the more power she can access.

It could be almost anything. Either way it can be a nice change of pace when the girl is actually wearing armor instead of a poor excuse for one. Sure it may lower the amount of fanservice, but who says she needs to wear her armor all the time. *Runs*

I always figured it was so they could blend in at The Home Depot and steal power tools.

More practically, one could say that a woman would not be able to carry and/or move effectively in heavy armor, and that having a more revealing outfit might work to her benefit against male opponents. Or that such things are aimed at a male-dominated audience.

I tend to go with the logic that anything these women fight in said fantasy setting would cut through realistic armor like butter anyway. And if it's enchanted, it doesn't make a difference how concealing or revealing it is.

However, countless anime/manga/games have proven that females can be just as sexy and effective in fullplate armor that exposes zero flesh. So, obviously, the D&D genre isn't trying hard enough it seems.

I've always wondered why no one attacks during a transformation scene. One would think that after that scene, a feeling of "oh crap I'm going to get beat down" comes into play.

The standard answer to that question is that the transformations usually occur instantaneously or nearly so, but they're slowed down for our benefit. Or, the benefit of the animators who get to reuse stock footage =P

Which is true for some series, but not for others. Wedding Peach had an episode where they showed a "realtime" transformation which was rather quick (less than a second). but both Cutey Honey and Sailor Moon both have the problem where after they transform (or before in Cutey Honey's case), they proceed to do a speech that is at least a minute long. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Pretty Cure also has the problem were they can easily be destroyed before they transform since they can only transform while they are together. So you can just sneak attack them in their homes and there's nothing they could do about it.

I always figured he was a UT fan, though I could never figure out if he would be a Tennessee fan or a Texas fan.

As long as he isn't a Florida fan, I can deal with either of those. Honestly, Naruto seems more "backwoods hick" than "cowboy". I'd say he's Tennessee /images/graemlins/wink.gif

--bright orange? Like the orange of a tiger? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

It may seem counter-intuitive, but it works.

And take it from someone who's played ninja waaay too much--it is better to wear dark greens, dark blues, and dark greys than it is to wear black. I will grant you that it is not as stylish, but if you prefer style over efficiency.... When you hide in a shadow, you in all your black are darker than the surrounding shadows. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
