Kaleido Star - Earlier Version?

So, I was watching an old ADV DVD, and noticed that it had a Kaleido Star trailer I hadn't ever seen. Or have seen... just so long ago that I couldn't remember.

The animation was different, and it was in widescreen too.

Sora looked horrible. And young. And tiny.
Was Layla going to have brown hair and look 20 years younger??
Mia was pretty ugly too.

Sora looked terrible when she did the preview "My wings are my dream" thing.

Anna was the only one that looked right.

Was this all... pre-production animation material? Or did I miss something?

Thank God the show didn't turn out this way.

Err...there's no Kaleido Star trailer on this disc.


However, it IS on disc two.

huh...that is interesting.

Most of it looks normal, but it seems some of the footage is from an earlier point in production.

I must have forgotten the disc number, I'll go fix that.

I noticed that some of this animation is in the background/backdrop for a few of the Kaleido Star opening animation though.
