Yay. I'm a Type Moon fanboy, and I end up feeling giddy everytime a series or game by them comes out. I was browsing around, and came across the story on ANS(Anime News Service).

8-6-06 (1:48AM EDT)——Kara No Kyoukai To Be Animated
According to information published in the September, 2006 issue of Tech Gian magazine, TYPE MOON’s first novel Kara No Kyoukai will be adapted to a 26 episode anime TV series. The Nasu Kinoko work preceded “Tsukihime”, which gave the Dojin circle super cult status in Japan, catapulting them into a full fledged business and leading to the commercialization of their many properties.

For a little more info, this (http://www.geocities.com/max3075/rakkyo/index.htm) is Kara no Kyokai. It's kind of the precursor to Tsukihime, as it contains a lot of the same elements and themes.

A 900 page novel by the Type-Moon writer, prior to Tsukihime. Having a main character that has the same name and same ability, it can be considered a prototype of Tsukihime. They have a lot in common, but the underlying theme in this book probably goes much deeper. The writer once said in an interview that games have an advantage over novels because it can use pictures and music on top of text. For a novel to be just as interesting, it needs to be three times as interesting. This is the novel that is three times as interesting as average games.

Although from what I gather it might be a false rumor, hence the question mark. I trust ANS as a news source, so I hope it's a hoax.
