Bought reduced in JSDVD's sale.

2 volumes, 2 discs in each. Double disc cases each in a chipboard box.

Volume 1 has episodes 1 - 6, & vol 2 has eps 7 - 12.

No English subtitles, but Japanese audio.

AnimEigo released some of the episodes as "Bomber Bikers of Mars" in the VHS days. I don't know if it had a LD release. Never DVD.

More when I've watched some!

I think you're mixing up AnimEigo's "Shonan Bakusozoku: Bomber Bikers of Shonan" with the Saturday morning cartoon "Biker Mice from Mars".

Now that that incredibly important point is out of the way, I'm really curious to hear about the full series. I liked the AnimEigo release quite a bit. Quirky, socially-irresponsible fun /images/graemlins/happy.gif

Ah. Of course. /images/graemlins/shy10000.gif "Biker Mice from Mars" is a fave 'toon of mine.

SB has Hiromi Tsuru as a female character, hence my initial interest.
If I like the R3s, I'll hunt down the AE VHS for translation (they're around like Super-Deformed is).

Now if only Pelican Road Culture Club could get a R3 release. I have the VHS & 3 CDs, its by the same creator IIRC & also has Hiromi Tsuru seiyuuing (as a pink haired razor blade throwing schoolgirl!).
