Gundam Seed Eternity. Real or Just Another Dragonball AF

Since this is the best place to ask and I couldn't find a thread talking about this subject. I was wondering if the whole Gundam Seed Eternity is an official series of is it the whole Dragonball AF fiasco again (which has been going on for atleast 8 years), where die hard who don't know any other series made up.
