This seems like a really interesting event that is happening near where Anime Next is held. It is not going to have any guests (as of 10 PM ET 9/14/2006), but it does seem to have a lot of programming. It is in Anime Next's old hotel and is run by Anime Next. Manganext web site (http://www.manganext.org/) is where you can find out more about the convention. This should be an interesting event. I plan to be there. Who else is going to be there?

Chances of me attending on Friday are very slim (can't get off from work early enough), but I'll definately be there both Saturday and Sunday.

I pre-reg'd today along with my two kids... so we should be there at least two of the three days.

I really like the Manga Swap Meet (http://www.manganext.org/swap-meet) idea.
I wish I could go, but I would only be able to attend for one day, and it looks like all attendees have to pay the 3-day registration fee ($30).

I was there! ^_^ If anyone's interested, my (really loooong) con report is available here (http://kethylia.livejournal.com/471195.html).
