View Full Version : One sentence descritption of an Anime Studio

The rules of this game are pretty simple. Take one of the well known or even not so well knowns anime studios and give in one sentence a description of the kind of show they would produce. Obviously this isn't an all encompassing descirption but simply something that if you thought of a certains tudio might come into your mind. Be sure to include a few shows or films the studio ahs done as prove of your description. I'll kick this one off with Sunrise
Sunrise Studios: "Pretty people smashing/blowing the hell out of stuff". Mai-Hime/Otome, InuYasha TV and movies, various Gundam properties.

Xebec: "Anime adaptations that tend to sway a little too far from the original manga source." Sorcerer Hunters (ignored a few manga elements in the TV series), DN Angel (heard that there were a few differences between the manga and the anime), Negima (need I say any more?)

For Madhouse, I'd say "You win some, you lose some". They've had as many train wrecks as they have absolute successes.
