Hentai(may include yaoi) with crappy reviews that you liked

This is not really a post asking for recommendations but I put it here since it seems more appropriate here than in general anime discussions. Anyway, I thought I'd start this thread because I've noticed that several hentai anime that I liked got some lousy reviews here. Is there any anime that you liked that got crappy reviews here or elsewhere? Why did you like it in spite of the negative press that it received?

I liked Lesbian Ward more than I was supposed to, and probably more than it deserved. Admittedly the animation was pretty craptastic, I just found a lot of the situations hot. Plus I liked the way it was structured as a series of isolated scenes, almost anthology-style.

I also seem to recall that Chris B. reviewed The Black Mail quite unfavorably, but liked Black Mail II pretty well. My reaction was the opposite: I enjoyed the first series, and found its followup unnecessary and dull.

Only one I can think of is Sexfriend - it got an OK review from Chris, but I would of given it an A- for content. Its one of my favorite hentai titles.

I love parts of it. The 1st scene with the two nurses in the bathtub was really hot. The next scene with the two nurses on the operating table was also really hot. At least until those dicks (literally and figuratively) showed up. /images/graemlins/depresse.gif For a title with "lesbian" in it, this has too MUCH male fluids and obviously the producers have no idea what the term "lesbian" means.

I loved the sweet romantic nature of it. However I could do without all the scenes of that ugly spectacled librarian girl - she annoyed me.

Sexfriend. Turned out to be my favorite hentai besides F3. FOllowed closely by Stainless Night.

I also agree that Lesbian Ward, while perhaps improperly titled, was really good. I like the anthology style story telling also. if only they had called it "BiSexual Ward".

Night Shift Nurses even with the edits, but rather have it unedited. Its a guilty pleasure, seeing how it kept pushing the limits with some damn fine character design and kinky as hell sex scenes.

I thought the character designs for the nurses have to be some of the hottest I've seen in any hentai. The one thing that ruined the series for me was the doctor - he's damn ugly and he just won't shut up during the sex scenes.

I know Chris is not a fan of scat (I'm not really either and look away sometimes) but I liked NSN a lot as well and it is probably my favorite. It has such great re-watch valuable, a great cast of distinctly different girls who resist yet submit to their pleasures! (not real life of course)

The Japanese Seiyuu for this cast is incredible with Nana Aikawa as Remi Shinjyo turning in an incredible performance across the series. The character Ren Nanase was great as well. Heck, I loved them all!
