The bandai channel is going to offer the first 25 episodes of Blood+ according to http://www.blood.tv/. the first episode is free and after that you have to pay, they will make 5 episodes available every month. It makes sense as Bandai was one of the sponsors of the show in the credits. I hope that this is a success so they can think of a second season.
I hope that this give the show a lot more exposure in japan and that it helps warrant a second season. Here is the news in Japanese for those that want to read it.

Well, they've been showing it on Animax (http://www.animax.co.jp/index.php) on Sunday nights for a while. They just aired episode 44 this past Sunday.
I guess this means that after it finishes its run it will only be airing on the Bandai channel, since they would have a tough time charging for it if people could just watch it for free on another station.
I just checked, and episode 50 airs on 11/12 on Animax and 天保異聞 妖奇士 (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=6730) takes Blood+'s time slot the following Sunday (11/19).

It is a satellite channel, as far as I know. I have watched it on SkyPerfect when I have visited Japan. I watched both Animax and Kids-Station (http://www.kids-station.com/) a lot on my last trip. I really wish I could get those channels in the US.
I don't know if they are basic satellite channels (like Cartoon Network is here) or premium (like HBO), because I wasn't paying the bill, SkyPerfect was included in my rent.
I watched a few episodes of Blood+, that's how I knew it was showing on Animax.

No, I've just been there on vacation a few times.
It would absolutely great if someone else was paying for me to go, but so far I haven't been able to find a way to do that yet.
