People are already waiting for the PS3

Wow, people are stupid. Today at one of the Best Buys here, 3 kids were standing out side and one of the employees asked if they needed help, they said, "No, we are just going to wait here until the PS3 comes out next week." /images/graemlins/stunned0.gif

Too bad. As bad of an idea I think it is, I still would have loved to have seen someone endure the wait outside the store that long.

Unfortunately I couldn't as I'm opening on the 17th. Which is cool with me, I get to watch people's reactions when I tell them we just sold out of the PS3s.

Personally though, I would rather make those standing in line at 6 AM on Friday play Video Game Jeopardy to find out if they actually deserve the system or not.

I've been thinking they should just have a "Battle Royale" event at every store.

All you've got to say is: "Folks, we got five systems. We'll leave you to sort out who gets them. Be back in a couple of hours to hand them out."

The situation will solve itself soon after, though it may be hard getting around with so much yellow tape at the workplace.

Yeah, all that chalk on the ground would be bad for business. Plus the smell of the corpses!

Maybe they should have a rule if you kill someone, or paralyze them in anyways, it would result in no PS3, do no pass go, do not collect $2000, and straight to jail w/large fees. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Let's be honest- would you want them in your store to buy a system, knowing full well that they've not showered in at least a week and a half? We complain about otaku stench after 3 days at a convention, imagine a week later... eww...
