Pretty bad. It's very much reminiscent of 8-bit console RPGs - graphics and all. The few pieces of Mogudan art in the game really don't justify it IMO due to the tediousness of trying to unlock them.

Sorry to go completely OT but I noticed quite a few games I'd like to buy from that site. I assume if I buy the downloadable version they'll work fine for me here outside the US?

I don't see why not. I've been told Japanese PC games work fine on US PCs as long as you have Japanese character sets installed. You should be fine since your computer supports English.
