Hi ya'll,
Finally got the time to post up a review of this thing. This little intercooler thing does help with the heat with 3 strong little fans that are a snap to attach (no tools needed and no cracking open your precious xbox 360). There is also a switch in the back just for the fans to turn on and off whenever you feel like you need it. You are better getting it off of ebay or something because retail price for this was like $30 (bestbuy? I think). Now the bad news. A lot of people have complain about the noise but it doesn't seem to bad after you've had it on for a bit and you can just turn up your tv a little bit if it bugs you that much. I have my xbox 360 under the tv/entertainment center cabinet that's pretty open air (no cabinet doors) and it does get hella hot where I'm at (California during the summer in a two-story house with no A/C), so it does help. I don't think the noise is that big of a deal, you would have to have a tiny 13 inch tv for the intercooler to be noiser than the tv, but then why are you playing your xbox360 on a 13inch tv anyway. I would recommend this device for those in hot climates, ease of installation, a on/off switch when you don't need it and the noise isn't that big a deal. Just shop around you could probably get it for $10-15 without shipping cost. Hope this review helps, Kusanagi out. /images/graemlins/catgirl0.gif
