Has anyone seen the ads for these games? Personally I find the idea hilarious.
Here's the link for those who haven't seen them: http://www.bkgamer.com/
Any thoughts? Is this more shameless than McKids, Yo-Noid, Cool Spot or Kool-Aid Man? ;)
The sad thing is, if I had an X-Box I'd probably buy these. :nervous:

I picked up the Sneak King game last week. The whole game is basically to keep out of sight of the people and just sneak up on them when they become hungry, then present them a sandwich from Burger king.
Most reviews I've seen on the net are dead-on when it comes to the game. The music is cheesy, the graphics are far from top of the line, and the camera has a lot of issues, but for $5, it is a really good deal and just the whole idea of playing the king to sneak up on people is fun.
I don't know if I'll pick up the other two, but I might just as well do it, especially since games like this have become collectible in the past.

You'd have to pay me to play that game.
I found myself wondering how incredibly bad these games must be when I saw that commercial. I'm sure they had quite a budget.

My dad suggested picking them up as future collector's items. :nervous:
At least McKids was a good game despite McDonalds claiming otherwise and refusing to do a Happy Meal promotion (if I remember correctly.)

Did Global Gladiators for the Megadrive (Genesis) get released in the US?
It's full title was Mick and Mac: Global Gladiators and it was a platformer with 2 kids who were saving the world and stopping pollution with the help of McDonalds.
Not even going into the complete irony of the situation, the game was pretty poor. It was, to my young and pure eyes, fairly subliminal in its advertising. I remember big macs being power-ups but aside from McDonalds being saviours of the world, I think the subject was kept pretty low key.

Not that I know of. That would be a fun game to play, though for its total bizarre-ness. :)

Yeah considering at the time McDonalds was packing everything in those Styrofoam containers.

If I had or ever intended to get an XBox, I would already have all three. I saw them Black Friday when I stopped at a BK for breakfast. I do know a store that will let you buy time on their XBox and has them avalible for play, though.... Might do that.... It's a local store though; not a chain. Hell, might buy them anyway and then see if any of my friends have an XBox I could play with.
Say, is there any way possible to get a PC to emulate an XBox so one could pop these in the drive and play? Without breaking too many laws, that is? I don't have an interest in XBox otherwise (all the games I want that it has are third party and on Game Cube except for these three).
They need to make a McDonaldsy version of Super Smash Brothers. That would be funny.
And for good measure, Wendys could get a Playstation game or two. Lol, an RPG staring Dave Tomas.
