Women of Power: Balalaika vs. Integra Hellsing

Balalaika ( Black Lagoon (http://www.blacklagoon.jp) ): EX-Russian military. Organized crime boss.

Integra Wingates Hellsing ( Hellsing (http://hellsingultimate.com/) ): Leader of Hellsing Orginazation.


Each of these women commands respect, fear, power, determination and beauty. But which of these two "women of power" would you want to "work under"? Who's got the charisma, the will, and the strength to be a real leader (psychotic or not)?

Balalaika is a battle tested leader. Hell, the reason for her scars is that she was wounded in battles as a Russian special forces operative and now runs part of the Russian mob. But then again Integra is the head of a large and storied organization herself. If I had to pick a place to "work" bases on the two women themselves, I'd go with Balalaika. She seems to treat her men well and she has a caring side that comes out now and then.

If I had to pick a place that would "have my back", who wouldn't pick a regenerating vampire and his crazy police girl servant? Both women, as characters, are personal favorites of mine. It was a little hard to choose hehe.

This is gonna sound like a typical guy, but I'd work for Integra Hellsing. Provided, that Seras would bite me and I could be her partner.

In all seriousness though, as a real person and for real objective purposes. I would work for Balalaika because of the afore mentioned traits in the previous post. In short, my kind of boss...

Balalaika is a better leader IMO. More effective and demands respect from her peers. Hellsing just has more powerful followers, but she does not command the respect that Balalaika does.

I'd just be replaced by some punkass merc if Integra got surprised.

yeahhhh... especially since it's more like everyone in the Hellsing org is there to protect her plus Alucard. I mean they do it for the good of protestant england or whatever....but that's what it's been boiled down to in the manga and anime. I don't think the comparsion is quite that fair.

Wouldn't Motoko (did I spell that right) from GITS be more appropriate?
