It's in my review pile (http://www.animeondvd.com/masterlist.php) but I haven't gotten to it yet.

the end seq is still off... using the same end as episode 1 for the episodes that has that image (hazuki in white on a red background). openings all look correct based on the card images before the finger breaks.
looking forward to the 3rd vol to see if the dvd version is used instead of the broadcast version.
Hmm cant say I the voice for Haiji sounds right or wrong... its not similar to the JP version that I am use to. the Mido twins are great.

Hmmm. Iirc, one of the eps in this volume should have a different ED (music and art). I believe one of the eps should have a Tsukuyomi-OP also, instead.
I can't verify right now since my r1-v2 is still en route, and my R2's were all at home, but maybe slerch can if he'd gotten the v2 already. Or yourself if you have the R2.

The openings are correct in both angles (unlike vol. 1). One of the endings may be off... I think. While I think about it, I think FUNi may have gotten it right on the ending sequences as the only difference was that the song was done in a different language which I believe they got right. Doing the full on comparison I did the last time took a LOT of time and effort which I just didn't feel motivated for this time out. I can do comparison shots IF people really want them.
The Tsukuyomi opening won't be until the next volume if memory serves. And I believe there will be at least one different ending... although w/ only 4 eps on the disc for vol. 3 that may not be the case as it wasn't until eps 16 or 17 that the first drastic change took place. It would be the Mido ending I think.

I glanced this volume over at BB yesterday and could've swore it had eps 6-10.
The Tsukuyomi-OP should be in ep9, while the special ED should be in ep7. Iirc, the R2 had both broadcast and special-song for the ep7-ED.

I don't recall the ending being any different, other than the language the song is in, on the R2s for these episodes or the first disc either. The only thing that changes, until the Mido ending, is the song which they have gotten correct in the Japanese track at least. I don't watch the dub, so I can't comment on the songs they put on the endings.
Well, that and the first episode has credits rolling over top of some of the "action" instead of the normal ending.
I'll double check the endings with the R2 endings tonight as time permits.

I honestly didnt pay any attention to the end song languages... normally when it ends I either skip or go do other stuff.
one of the endings for vol 2 is just the end of the episode with jp/eng text on the last few scenes...
i was paying more attention to the 5 additional post cards that came with the disc. those are nice and its a good bonus, 1 pc for each episode i am guessing.
really wish they left the tsukiyomi in the title for this show... instead of just plain moonphase

Now that I'm thinking about it, you are correct. I'll check it again tonight. I watched the DVD about 1.5 weeks ago and have watched so much since then, I can't recall if the Tsukuyomi opening is there. I'm almost 100% positive the ending songs are all correct (on the Japanese side).
I have no idea on the English side, other than the fact that the proper openings have been used for both angles.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of vol.1? I don't recall any of the eps on disc 2 having story play out through the end credits, only the first episode has done that.

Each R2 DVD came with 2 post cards and FUNi has duplicated this in that they are including the post cards as you guessed, one per episode.

Switch over to the Japanese angle then. ;)

yeah there is also an ending where there is no traditional credit scroll/list on the 2nd dvd.
just text over the last few scenes... i was swapping between angles to see placement of text lined up or not. They do. I do recall music playing but I honestly dont pay much attention to that.
edit: treatment said there is a spec ending for ep 7... that could be it?

The only special for ep7's ED is a different bit happier song (Nami no Toriko ni naru you ni) and the slightly animated ending-sequence ala ep-1. It should not be the usual static Hazuki-on-red-bg image ED. It should be a shot of Hazuki wearing a red ribbon instead of her usual nekomimi.

Here's the R2-Phase04 dvd extras-menu with the broadcast ED-song of ep-7:

If anyone wants this Nami no Toriko ni naruyouni song, it is included in the import outro-theme cd (http://202.234.167.56/detailview.html?KEY=VICL-35730).
