Just curious if anyone else decorates their desks, offices, or cubicles at your work place with anything anime related? I feel like the only anime fan in the office. I have a Last Exile poster up, and a couple of marketing cards from newType, like the Guyver, Patlabor advertising cards as well as a FMA up. I'm bringing in a calendar for the new year, but was curious if anyone else does this as well... Wallpaper is part of another threa, so does not count in this one... :)

Nope, not at all, but then I don't buy anime related products for the most part, just the anime itself. The few merchandise items I have are plushies (which decorate my living room) and the Gunslinger Girl cloth poster thing (which really doesn't seem appropriate for an educational institute LOL)

Well, I got the 3 Gundam 0083 ships that Bandai released on the Heyday of Gundam in the US on the cubicle cabinet and a Strike Gundam (Active Mode) MSIA on my computer monitor and usually put up an anime calendar.
I got a colllage of Gundam images running as a screen saver and you can check the wallpaper thread for my current wallpaper.
I wanted to put up my 2 Voltron figures(Lion and Stealth from the Trendmasters run) but never could manage the guts to put them on display.

I'm allowed to but i'm not big on cluttering my already messy workspace.

Besides my wallpaper, I have a Hellsing calendar and I just purchased a HelloKitty water dispenser for my desk. This office is special though.
The receptionist has a Utena poster and an Al figurine on her desk.
Another guy here has a Japanese flag, he's not Japanese, and a lot of his drawings of Naruto and Bleach. So there...lots of anime everywhere.
Did I mention our x-mas tree ornaments a SD versions of all the staff members? The Dean of the college gets to be the top angel :) .
Only anime wallpapers on my work computer. It's been a Kamichu wallpaper for nearly a year now though. I work in an open office without cubicles so I think it'd be a bit much to bring anime merchandise in. :)

I once had a nice Vampire Princess Miyu poster and Bubblegum Crisis poster in my (then) office. They were framed and I thought tasteful but somebody (anonymously) complained about them and I had to take them down.
Now I have nothing and it's probably better off. I prefer to keep my home life and work life seperate.

Yes, I have a Kyo cat plushie from Fruits Basket and a Totoro plushie. I also have a GitS:SAC 2nd gig and a Samurai Champloo post card and a Bleach sticker but those are hidden behind papers atm.

Yeah mostly, I stay away from anything remotely unsuitable. I'm a neat freak at work and just have an Rob van Dam bobblehead on my desk for figures. Everything else stays at home. I find that this stuff is a good distraction when I need it to be, short from being logged on here all day...lol Providing me a not so sterile environment to work in... Oh, I also have a Shadow of the Colossus poster from Game Informer that I've gotten nice comments from everyone about... Not anime, but the game was excellent to me. :)

I have a couple of random comics, little pins of the main Inuyasha cast tacked to a sheet of paper and a Shippou doll. I'm thinking of bringing in the Lina, Gourry and Amelia dolls I found as well.

Geez, I'd be afraid of my stuff disappearing. When I first started working there, one girl had a Star Trek photo up and these guys from another department thought it was funny to knock it down every couple days.
Thank goodness for computer screens. I had a GetBackers screensaver up for over a year and recently changed it to a Prince of Tennis screensaver. Oh yeah, with Initial D wallpaper.

I've got a Twelve Kindoms calendar up, but since there isn't one for next year I'm not going to have another next year.
I've also got up a picture of Alpha from Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, just because she's one of my favorites and I've got it.
I work in test developement for a network company, so I've also got up a picture of Porco Rosso. A porcine aviator just seems appropriate.

My office is clean of anything anime or personal. I have my desk, white board, and some shelves.

I don't have cubical or office, so I don't have a wall to hang anything on.
However, I have a few thousand anime screenshots/images from shows that I have seen, that randomly rotate every few seconds as my screensaver.

I can't help but decorate my workspace with Anime. As long as something is not risque, my place of employment doesn't mind. So my walls get covered with what ever cool anime pic I can find. And of course my wallpaper and screensaver is a constantly rotating gallery of anime art.

I can't really decorate my current workplace, so I put a Pikachu pin on my uniform hat and am currently wearing a P-Chan pin on my uniform shirt. I have a legitimate excuse for the P-Chan pin though; there's a whole bunch of sticker residue on my shirt from these stickers we had to wear that I haven't gotten off yet, so he obscures it. I've had Pikachu and a Micky & Minnie pin there as well. Going through a bit of a rotation.
One manager finds them cute, one asked if Pikachu was Mario, and the guy training to be a manager also found them cute.
Speaking of the wallpaper thread, where is it? I've glanced around for it because I have a question to ask, but the only one I've seen so far is the Haruhi one.

Geez, I'd be afraid of my stuff disappearing.
That's exactly why I stopped bringing personal stuff to the office; at my last workplace personal items (even worthless junk) had a tendency to disappear when left overnight. So I kept my decorating down to anime or manga related wallpapers, and really work-safe ones at that, lest I get that "You ever watch Legend of the Overfiend?" conversation again. :nervous:
Now that I work from *home* I keep some Appleseed and Gundam action figures on a nearby shelf; I've got some posters I've been meaning to put up for the longest time, but I'll save that for after I move.

I don't have an office job at the moment, but I used to work in a computer lab at a college a while back. During weekend lab sessions I'd put a figure of Bulbasaur or a figure of Mewtwo on my helpdesk. It seemed to help with the decor a little bit.

oooo, Farscape fan... Wicked! *crosses fingers for movie* On topic though, I've put up a Voltron drawing from our 7 y/o which gets the cute remarks from all the ladies around here.... lol I'm wanting to bring in a calendar, but I'm having a tough time deciding which one to get. I think Trigun may be my best bet, but I'm gonna cruise for calendars tonight after work while the wife bellydances with the little one. (the other one is grounded from tv, which means no Kaleido Star disc tonight for her)

Aside from a few smaller printed pictures on the bulliten board, I have these hanging (http://www.colonyworks.com/Posters%20at%20work.jpg) in my office. I also have two others, but they are SF related (one Babylon 5 and the other Trek:TOS).
Enjoy!!

No cube walls here and things tend to randomly disappear (it's much better than it used to be, new cleaning crew apparently values their jobs but I still don't feel comfortable about it).
So I don't bring anything expensive or "important" to me (all photos have duplicates at home even).
Well that and I keep trying to quit (you'd think after 8 years of trying, I'd just give up lol). Never wanted to have to take a big box of stuff out of here if I quit ;)
However, and this is so totally ghetto as my hubby says lol, I do have a TON of those "mini-pictures" that come on the paper inside of wallscrolls (the thing that lets you see what it's of, without unwrapping it prior to purchase). I cut off the borders and I've got them stuck all over my stuff ^_^ The actual wallscrolls are up at home though.
Otherwise, I have only a few personal items here - Sneaks (AKA sneaky the beanie baby, he's a duplicate), a Beagle calendar, and a kanji practice pad. (Looking at my desk now and it looks like a paper machine blew up on it, so sad. ><)

My boss frowns on the non work related decorations, "it's not brand filter". I had to take my beetle baily figure home as she did not like it in the office. And considering that most of the small figures I have here at my computer desk are females in, little or no clothing, I would be bigger truoble.
