so I checked out GUSA's official F/SN site at:

http://www.fatestaynightdvd.com/

It's a little slow for now, with all the trailer-timeouts and stuff. The trailer could use a bit more spice and a bigger view-window, you know.

Yeah, the site and trailer both load very slowly. I kept hitting up against the limit of what it had download as I watched, and eventually just left the site alone for 10 minutes so it could finish. it's not like the window is all that big, or the video all that high quality (at all, ditto on the sound) for it to need to take so long. The initial load of the page itself before you get to the content was longer than it needed to be as well.

Edit: Oh yeah, nice that it's in Japanese, but subs would be pretty nice too, ya know =P

Hmmmm, isn't that trailer from that limited edition DVD teaser trailer that was sold last year in Japan?

Agreed. The site loads really slowly.

I wish that they also had other goodies, such as wallpapers and maybe avatars.

Still, as I just today received the box+1, I don't need the trailer anymore :D

They didn't even sub it when they used it to promote FSN on other DVDs. I doubt they'll do it here.

But wow, that's some poor quality video/audio.

If it's the same one they've been using on their DVDs, then yes.

Well I do agree that the trailer is in pretty poor quality. But I understand japanese, but I can understand why people would want subs. Afterall, this is the R1 release.

Oh, and I don't have any problem with the site being slow ;) It loaded in like 2 seconds for me, same as all the pages. So not quite sure there.

It loads fast now coz they just upgraded the site to use european hamsters instead of their usual dwarf hamsters powering their servers. :tired:

I prefer Scottish hamsters myself, they wear little kilts. Anyway, I don't expect sites like these to be great or the "end all" if you will. I'd be for maybe having the English cast or whoever have a blog or a update thing telling something about them working on the show. Granted I know that not many people check these sites, but it would be a neat little thing to check now and then.

I didn't bother to actually go back and watch the whole trailer the first time because it was so slow, but this time it loaded fast. of course, that's also because I've loaded the site once already and... because it's 7am here :sd:

Anyways, Rin is hot, but it's not like I didn't know that already. So... where's my cheap re-rerelease boxset? =D

haha :D

yes, that could also be another reason, it is quicker when the servers are not so busy. :)

Yep, that's one of the trailers from Curtain Raiser. I agree it should have been in English. Maybe there was a reason that they couldn't put it in English.

Site loaded okay for me too. Looks nice.

Not knowing much about the show from whether it's anygood or not. The trailer did seem very interesting and I liked a lot of what I saw sans the overall quality and lack of subs... It'd be nice to know what was going on....

Shhh! You don't want everyone to know the secret to how Internet speeds are realy generated!!
;)

CHECK: I just visited the site and it loaded kind of slowly. treatment, I knew you shouldn't have talked about the hamsters!! :P

The site loaded fairly fast for me (less than 1 minute from clicking on the link). What I don't get, is that with all the hype surrounding the character Rider, is why she isn't listed as a character.

She doesn't appear in volume 1.
