New This Week: Releases for the Week of December 12

In accordance to AoD's Upcoming Releases page, the following are the releases that are officially scheduled to street this week. Please select the items you're planning to buy this week, have on order, or have already bought. If none, select None of the above.

Last week, the much-anticipated release of Hellsing Ultimate Vol. #1 easily won Pick of the Week honors with 61 votes, 19 more than the second-place finisher, Eureka Seven Vol. #5. While its margin of victory wasn't as big as Troy Smith's landslide victory in the Heisman race, it still was pretty significant. I'll have to check the OVA out once I get around to watching the original series. ;)

Since I didn't catch the delay of the Voltron Set 2 until it was too late (thank you very much, Media Basters :roll: ), the set will be listed on this week's poll. Just like in the November 21 poll, if you do plan of buying the Voltron set, go ahead and vote for it. This time, it'll count. :P

Kind of a slim week with only six releases scheduled, but just like I did in the 11-21 poll, I do plan on purchasing the Voltron Set 2, along with Kodocha Vol. #10.

Nothing for me this week. As with every volume of Kodocha, I'll mention that I will start getting this series when the inevitable box sets begin.

Not sure when I'll finally pick up Voltron, but I need it in my collection to relive my childhood.

Voltron Volume 2... The kids love this show and didn't touch Hellsing Ultimate. The wife and I get a nostalgia value for this show, more for me though as Voltron was simply my favorite cartoon right next to Thundercats...Transformers and others are up there to, but Voltron has followed me my entire life showing up when life thinks I need to be a kid again. lol
