View Full Version : New and good news for Burst Angel fans
I've seen threads about the status of the OVA off and on, and it seems like that the offical site finally has something up. They're calling it "INFINITY" and you can look at it here (http://www.baku-ten.net/). While I wasn't a huge fan of Baku Ten the first time, I did like the designs.

Well, it has a date! Does that girl on the left with the white hair look like Jo? I wouldn't mind Jo being alive, that would mean that Sei will also might be alive. IT also looks like Meg got some breast reduction done :P

Sure looks like Jo to me.

Don't know for sure, but maybe it's a prequel? That would account for Jo being alive and Meg being lighter on top. (There was plenty of backstory for them which got one episode, I think, of exploration.) Still, I'll probably look at it, even though BakuTen was mostly lousy. It's the completist in me.

Yup, given that image this reeks strongly of prequel, but I want it just the same. With both voice casts intact though!
Thanks for the link, Lego.

Maybe it's because I haven't watched it in awhile, but I don't remember Jo or Sei dying. I thought their fate was left kind of ambiguous...
Anyway, good news to see this finally coming out soon. It's wasn't great, but I liked Burst Angel, enough to even pick up the Japanese manga and Ugetsu Hakua's beautiful artbook, Flamboyant. :)

Nope. Neither Jo nor Sei dies, nor any of the others in the team.
I rather enjoyed Bakuten myself and have been wondering what has happened to the OVA that was planned right at the beginning. It seems it just disappeared without ever surfacing. Be nice to see a bit more Bakuten though :) .
Looking at that, it looks, as I heard it was, to be a prequel. The length of Jo's hair certainly makes it look so, since that is how it was early on. I'd love it to be a sequel, with Meg in the cockpit of Django :D .

Well, I am glad I was wrong. BEcause the end of the series gave me the impression that they died and many people also talked about them dying. This is one of those time that I am glad people prove me wrong. I should watch the last episode again and check why I thought they died.

And they are actually wearing pants. :surprised:
Anyway, I'm glad that the OVA is finally in production.
