In Summary:
In watching the show twice, I'm not really sure what the creators were seeking to do with this. In the last year or two it's seemed like most of the shows that have been picked up have moved away from the more extreme material which is a welcome trend but a few of these still make it over and this is a good example of one. Where it does fail though is that the plot that they use to hold it all together is so poorly executed that you're just left dumbfounded. If you like the extreme material, you'll likely be able to look beyond the plot. But if you're not into the extreme material, this will be a very hard show to get through.
