Are Arjuna & Macross Zero the same reality/timeline?

I was looking up Arjuna on ANN & noticed the seiyuu that voices Arjuna, Mami Higashiyama, is credited for a cameo appearance as a character called Arjuna in Mac. 0. Is she the same Arjuna as in the Bandai series?

If so..I'm intrigued. Is there any connection to any other canon Macross with Arjuna.

Hmm, interesting. I think it's more of a homage, or just a similiarly named character. Although one has to think that since they got Arjuna's VA, and named a character that that there could be something more to it.

It is; the Appare Genki! drink that appears in Arjuna also appears in Macross Zero, although I don't think the jingle does.

Arjuna and Macross Zero can't cross over anyway; the mythology wouldn't match up properly.

It sometimes can be hard to tell since they're both very representative of Kawamori's crazy Greenpeace thing that he's started on. So while they're probably not in the same universe, they definitely seem to carry some of the same themes.
