View Full Version : Quick Kenshin question...

Hey there guys and girls,
I hope all have had suitably awesome Chrimbo's and New Year's.
I'm approaching the half-way mark in Kenshin and have been thoroughly enjoying the occasional injections of humour. Do they continue to the end of the series? Or do they become more scarce/stop?
That's it really!

Some of the best humour is to come. An episode in the (Meiji arc) Dark Knights series, in Indiana Jones vein, is really funny. But the best, also in Meiji, is the episode where all the women go out for a meal together & talk about breast care & development. Megumi fans should love it, Misao fans might not. (Going on the Japanese track)

Looks like I have some incentive to finish the Meiji arc then. I got bored, and stopped. I'll work on finishing it now. :)

Yep, the humor continues... it's probably more prominant in the Meiji arc than it was in the Kyoto arc, actually. The only humorless things in Kenshin are the OVAs and the movie.

It's just a shame that the Jinchu arc never got animated. That was just awesome.

The end of the Kyoto arc gets pretty serious, but like the others said the Meiji arc has a lot of humor. I think in terms of comedy the last season has some of the best moments. Kaoru and mistake with a wedding ring, an ridiculous looking Battusai imposter, an painter obsessed with painting Kaoru, and a lot more. Although I am sure it wasn't meant to be funny I also can't help but laugh a little at Kenshin fight a man in armor on a horse with a lance.

Sweet! I get to look forward to some more comedy then...
