All right then since I've watched the first episode I'll start the discussion on it. The first episode seems to be more focused on Kotono than anyone. Ie the girl with blue-green (I think) hair. Natsuki the blond girl does appear in the episode as well. However the red haired girl doesn't appear at all. Heck they still have yet to list her a character in the Official Site. (http://www.konami.jp/visual/saintoctober/) Are they just being lazy or does the person in charge of the site just plain not like her? :sd:

That being said this doesn't look like it will be anything deep. It's the type of show one watches for the fun or even heck of it. There is definitely a magical girl element to it given that Kotono has an err transformation scene in the episode.

Hopefully it won't be long before Natsuki and red-haired girl get theirs. Plus I want to get to know them better. Which will give me a better idea if I'll be sticking with this series or not. Since their personalties will have a major effect the show even if Kotono is likely the lead girl.

I found the artstyle incredibly unattractive and wrote this one off at first glance. I'll stay tuned to this thread to see if the story turns out good enough to make it worth watching anyway though. :)

Heh while I'll probably end up liking this anyway, I'm not exactly confident that this will have a story that parts water. It will likely come down to which of the girls one gets attached to. Hopefully they won't drag the introduction/set up period out too long...

All right then sadly they still have yet to introduce the third girl and the second girl Natsuki doesn't get her transformation scene. Darn it, I know it's still early here. However I don't want them to wait until the show is nearly over to introduce the other two girls properly. Especially the third...

I guess this means the anime is still in the set up phase. Either way the main pattern is established. Kotono, Natsuki, Yohan (Mysterious Boy), and the rest interact with each other. One of the villains tries to kidnap Yohan to take advantage of him and such. Kotono beats up villain and saves Yohan. Although that last part will likely change at least somewhat shortly.

In any the villain this time was of the older blond female with a large chest that bounces variety. You also have of course a flashback scene to a younger Kotono being found by her current guardian. In any case it was kind of fun to see Kotono grab the villain in mid-air with what looks to be the same err black water used in the transformation scene

Speaking of which I'm not sure if I should be impressed or creeped out by the transformation scene. Okay so a girl raises a sword and stabs a red moon. Then you have what looks like black liquid drop down from the said moon that ultimately covers her and causes the transformation.

In short I don't think the second episode is the type that will suddenly cause a mass increase in the number of fans. It's not enough to make me drop the series since it's still early on and it's not like it's worse than the first episode. However it does have me worried since I really want to see more of the other two as well. I'm still bitter about the previews...

Well the second girl Natsuki finally got her transformation scene. Instead of being on the red moon, she's standing on it. She seems to pull out a section of it and squeeze it until stuff comes out. Ie white stuff that covers her and yeah she tastes it at one point. Heh I wonder the third girl is going to have a lot of competition. However she has yet to appear.

In any case it seems the episode was mainly focused on revealing Natsuki feeling towards Kotono. Let's see Natsuki seems jealous of Yohan. Natsuki seems to adore Kotono. Natsuki has several dolls of Kotono. Natsuki takes some "action" against Yohan due to jealousy. At least this is how it comes off to me. Gee I wonder if Natsuki loves Kotono.

The villain this time was a cat turned into a monster. Just as Yohan made an instant magical girl out of Kotono, he does the same for Natsuki. Which is good because Kotono needed saving from the monster cat. In the end the cat gets turned back normal.

I've found episode 3 to be much better than episode 2. Natsuki was rather fun in this episode. Also it shows a sign of progress. Hopefully this means it won't be long before red-haired girl makes her appearance. So I can see how I feel about her.

It's easy! First make sure red-haired girl's transformation is just as interesting. Second have all three transform at the same time together to appropriate music. :> In all seriousness I'd be disappointed if the red-head one turned out to be tame in comparison. She can't let us down! In all seriousness I do kind of like both transformations shown so far. I'm not sure what that says about me, but like I care.

The main purpose to this episode was to show part of Kotono and Natsuki's school life. Including various students. Some likely more important than others. You also got to see the main villain trying on various beards and such. In any case a certain character at the school is hinted at being part of the villain group. For the record no the third girl has not appeared yet. *Slaps creators for waiting so long*

The villain from episode 01 appears again in this episode. He's of course released from prison and goes back to the organization he was helping. Eventually the main villain uses a new card on him which results in a stronger err let's call it monster form to be simple. In any case he ends up battling Kotono (Black Loli) and Natsuki (White Loli).

In any case Kotono ends up getting hit by lightning which does let's say 999 HP damage for the fun of it. Thus knocking her out of the battle at her current level. Thus forcing Natsuki to fight the guy alone. She struggles with him, but he's clearly gaining the advantage. Eventually it looks like she's doomed and needs to be saved.

Thus as expected the red-haired girl suddenly appears. It's a classic case of suddenly appear, whack the guy, and then leave. Yeah that's right she actually remembered she's supposed to be in the series. :D Of course by the time the guy can realize he's now at a disadvantage, Kotono uses her special ability on him.

Later on you see the guy laying on the ground and he's looking a picture of himself and this pink haired girl. I'm not sure what their relation is. Either way shortly after that he simply vanishes. I guess this means he's dead.

Oh yes near the end of the episode Kotono and Natsuki meet face to face with the red-haired girl. Heh so we're finally going to see what she's like. Although the short amount of appearance in this episode does offer some hints. Granted it may be less a case of her being stronger and more a case of her having good timing. For the record she has not transformed yet. Although I'm guessing she'll be either Red or Pink.

For the record the red-haired girl is Misaki. In any case Misaki finally has her transformation in this episode. It boils down to eat fruit from a tree. Cover yourself in red stuff, have more fruit fall. Yeah she's definitely the Red Loli.

As usual the evil President makes you wonder about him. As he builds a model city and later on ends up wearing a monster costume and starts destroying the model city as if he's Godzilla or something. I swear if this guy is really supposed to be a threat then he must be a good actor.

In any case what mainly happens is Misaki ends up as new student in the same class as Kotono and Natsuki. Some school stuff happens. Oh yes you even get to see Misaki go into the forest and hunt for food. She ends up eating a small Lizard or whatever.

The villain of this episode is a cute girl who goes in disguised as student with glasses and hides in the shadows to spy on people. Eventually she and Misaki start fighting. The fight seems to be a bit even so the girl pulls the "true form" cheat to gain the advantage. Which mainly involves removing her disguise. So he starts using wind style attacks to beat up Misaki. Kotono and Natsuki come to her aid, but thanks to the wind, they end up being tied up by the each other's attacks. Leading to the two being spun around in twisters.

Yohan decides well if that girl can cheat then so can Misaki. So yes at this point Misaki gets initialized as a magical girl. So apparently the energy from doing so was enough to damage cute wind chick thus freeing Kotono and Natsuki. Misaki of course uses her bow to shoot arrows that cut through the twisters and eventually break her special amulet on her wrist. Cue standard Judgment attack and the villain then decides to run off.

Thus now all three of them are gathered together. I'm still undecided on which girl I like best, but Misaki has definitely won some points with me. There's just something cool about her. I also love the fact she uses Bow for some reason. It was annoying waiting for her to appear, but in some ways it was worth it.

Over all I still wouldn't call this show one of those must watch epics that parts water and reveals the meaning of life. However it's been gradually improving over time. At the very least the battle in episode 05 and 06 were much better than previous battles. This remains one of those series to watch for the fun of it. So yeah I'll continue to stick with it. The fact I've watched six episodes and have yet to drop it is saying something.

Poor Kotono seemed to be afraid that Joshua would marry some random girl and leave her. Granted these fears seemed to be unfounded based on how the episode ended. However one has to remember Kotono was already "abandoned" before. So she wouldn't want it to happen again. Still this lead to being able to see the girls sneak around in disguises. Kotono and Natsuki were of course wearing glasses.

Granted the two battles weren't exactly dramatic, but they were kind of fun. In the first one you have Natsuki pull out a chain saw. In the later run it's like they're playing a clipped battle in fast forward. A blatant stab at how in some series they have a battle for the sake of having a battle and to fill space. I ended up rewatching thinking "They did not just pull that" Yet they did.

Okay so in this episode you have Kotono and Natsuki bowling. They meet a guy there. This guy turns out to be part of the villain group or at least helping them. He's shown an image of the three girls and recognizes them because he met them earlier.

In any case eventually the guy transforms into what I shall refer to as the Bowling Knight. Instead fo a bowling ball let's use a Spiked Mace. Well eventually the Kotono and Natsuki get pinned to the wall and in trouble. Kotono of course tries to reason with the guy (I think).

Misaki being smart knew to stay behind. After all the last person to join the battle has the highest chance of success. See watching random episodes of Sailor Moon is good training. Eventually thanks to being alerted by the pet bird, Misaki is ready to rescue them.

Interesting enoughly while Misaki gains a bow when transformed as this episode shows she'll still fight hand to hand on occasion. So she's got short and long range covered. In any case while she whacks the guy, Kotono and Natsuki are freed.

Misaki plans to finish the guy off, but Kotono asks for the guy to be spared. Cue judgment scene. From what I can tell the guy essentially reveals the location of their enemy. Ie the ones causing all the problems. So regardless of what one make thing of the bowling aspect some progress has definitely been made. Of course what they'll do with the info I'm not sure. The previews aren't much help to me.

Apparently this is going to run for 26 episodes. Yeah I'll probably end up watching them all and yes I'll continue to comment on it in some form. Although I actually expected this to only last 13 episodes. Then again given when Misaki joined it's probably good it's 26 episodes so that way she gets proper screen time. Now on to the actual episode.

All right Kotono, Misaki and Natsuki dress themselves up to look more adult. Which even includes changing their hairstyle. This is to try to get into the building. Of course this plan screws up when Misaki chops the desk and causes severe damage. Heh she really is strong. They're forced to flee and escape with help.

To make a long story short they do confront the President, but he manages to escape from them. Well mainly he escaped from Misaki. Since she was the one chasing him. Natsuki and Kotono ended up having to avoid the girl that seems to have a crush on the President. Well thanks to this the President now seems to have better idea that Kotono is indeed the girl with judgment.

10: Not much to say about this one. Some girl gets jealous of Kotono because she has a crush on the boy working with the enemy. The same boy that messes around with Kotono. Although he has yet to fight himself. It seems he rejects her in the end. Ie the girl that gets carded.

11: Sophia the girl who was obsessed with the President makes her first real battle with the girls. She's dangerous due to the lift a whole bunch of stuff aspect, but she's defeated in the end. Joshua seems to demand Yohan actually explain things now.

12: Yohan gives his explanation. Kotono seems willing to help. Joshua seems to be hesitant about the idea. Sophia wants a second chance to help the president. She even taped her card back together. In any case the president finally accepts the offer and forces her to transform again.

The battle this time basically boils down to your classic insane one tracked mind attacking machine. Eventually they manage to subdue her and decide to go after the President directly. Kotono decides to use judgment on him, but Sophia decides to be a human shield.

Thus Kotono gets to directly see the results of what happens if someone gets hit by judgment a second time. Which is they essentially disentergate. This makes her extremely upset, I guess she doesn't want to be a "murder as it were. In any case the girls escape thanks to Misaki and of course Kotono cries in Joshua's arms. Something tells me that episode 13 is going to be an angst episode.

Suwako Moriya
04-05-2007, 01:07 PM
In any case episode 13 involves of course Kotono in angst mode. Eventually the president makes one of Sophia's friends ie the weird creature go mad and thus he starts looking for Judgment (Kotono). Of course Misaki and Natsuki are forced to fight alone because of them.

Eventually through Kotono finally does decide to fight again after some conversation with Johan. Except this time she ends up using a different version of judgment which I'll call the "peaceful" version. I have mixed feelings on this because it kind of solves the whole "they'll die the second time they lose" problem a bit too early. On the other hand at least it keeps the angst part down a bit.

Still the more important part of the episode is this. The pink haired girl shown in the picture that the magician guy had is an actual character in the series. She's going to be one of the villains and she looks like well she's an evil brat based on her expressions. Go figure on that part.

I haven't seen episode 14 yet, but I have checked out the image thread. Yeah she's definitely going to be an evil brat. It also seems like there is a new ending for the series. Hmm you know she could make the series even more interesting for me if the images are any indication. Plus it will be nice to have a Loli vs Lolis battle royale. As if I didn't have enough reason to watch this.

Suwako Moriya
04-06-2007, 06:22 PM
In any case the pink-haired loli turns out to be sadistic. Let's just say she definitely wants revenge for her elder brother's death that happened back in episode 05. Oh yes she apparently stores things in her hair. Plus the two birds that befriended her brother are even helping her. Heh maybe this means the pet bird of Joshua will have something to fight. Or maybe not.

Besides introducing us to pink-haired loli the main idea of the episode is that Kotono and the boy who teases her ends up staying after class for whatever reason. Pink-Haired ends up slashing a card through the teacher her and then places the card into a doll and thus controls the teacher.

Cue eventual battle scene where both Kotono and Natsuki are trapped before transforming. Misaki hits the teacher from behind and the said doll falls down to symbolize the connection I guess. Misaki transforms herself and fights the teacher. The birds decide to help out by attacking Misaki.

After awhile Misaki is able to free Natsuki and Kotono who also transform. The pink-haired loli reveals herself and her motivation for wanting to see them dead. The teacher manages to trap them and starts a fire. However the boy teases Kotono ends up using a fire extinguisher in order save them. After which cure Judgment version 2 and the boy runs off with pink-haired.

Heh you know for someone who is supposed to be part of the villains he seems to be doing his best to protect Kotono over letting the missions be completed. Yeah I know this is probably a sign that he's attracted to her.

Now that I've seen her in action, I'm hoping Pink-Haired Loli will last for awhile. She has potential to make the series more interesting. Plus a decent wait will make it even better when hopefully the time to directly fight her and eventually whack her comes along. Not that I'd be against redemption for her, but err let her get whacked first.

As for the new ending over all I like it much better than the previous ending. Both in terms of the song and the animation to go along with it. This is one of your "Let's relax on a grassy hill" type endings. That's something I used to do when I was younger. Except I didn't exactly wear long stocking, short skirts, while taking my ribbon and shoes off. I wasn't a young attractive girl either. :P

Yeah I've fallen behind on talking about this, but I've still been watching it. Also I need more accurate (Yeah there are probably some mistakes I've made) summaries since I'm lacking some information as it were. Still I'll give the basic over view of what happened during episodes 15 and 22 for now as best I can.

The general stuff that's a bit spoilerish since it's focused on multiple episodes.

Essentially you have Esmeralda (pink-haired loli) make several attempts to defeat Kotona. Ryouhei a boy torn between his like for Kotona and his debt to Ash ends up eventually challenging Kotona, but in the long run turns against Ash. The fact that it's clear Ash helped Ryouhei for his own benefit probably helped in the decision. We learn that Misaki's flashbacks are from a past life. Oh she makes friends with a bear.

The more major spoiler concerning Kotono herself and stuff that you knew would eventually be answered. A lot of this is related to 21 and 22.

Now I long suspected that Kotono's father would be Krutz the main villain of the series. However in reality it turns out that her father is actually Ash. Who is definitely not someone you want to be your father. Since he tried multiple times to kill his daughter. Even after Krutz had removed the Justice Card from Kotona destroying the power of Judgment and thus putting Kotona in quite a bit of pain.

So yeah obviously either the Justice Card will be restored, Kotona will get a new form before the final episode, or heck maybe it will revealed that Kotona is special and that in reality may be able to become Judgment/Justice or some stronger form without any card. They've essentially set up the whole lead suffers a great loss, but will eventually will come out on top situation.

To make a longer story short the history of Joshua, Ash, and Kotona is this. The three actually knew each other in the past. It seems that Joshua was going to leave for whatever reason, but a crying and desperate Kotona wanted him to say. In a sense she looked at him as an older brother. Well eventually Ash gets carded by Krutz and thus that's when things fall apart.

Ash attacks Joshua, but Kotona gets hit trying to protect him. I'm not sure what's being said, but it seems that Ash didn't care that Kotona was hurt. Which made Joshua angry and he decides to leave with Kotna. Ash tries to kill him, but is only stopped because he gets a phone call from Krutz and has to prioritize it. Wow saved by loyalty? :P

Eventually Joshua escapes with Kotona and ends up a church. More or less it's easy to guess what happened after that. Joshua gets some help, Kotona probably suffers memory loss, and Joshua ends up raising Kotona as his (adopted) daughter.

It's quite possible and likely that Ash is only attacking Kotona because of the influence of the high priest card and being loyal to Krutz the King. However regardless of whether or not Ash is doing because he wants to or being forced to it does not matter. Since in the end having your father try to kill you is not good. Still in the end the true blame lies with Krutz.

Oh yes Joshua was recalling the past and telling it to Kotona while she slept with the others having listened in much to his surprise. Let's just say this makes Johan and the girls made. Which leads to Johan hitting Ash with his tablet and smacking Krutz. They then shoot missiles at the building before leaving. In short they're essentially make a statement to Krutz. Which is probably to say they're angry at the treatment of Kotona. A message that in the end results with Krutz sending out a whole bunch of cards.

In any case it's quite clear from the 22 episodes I've seen that Saint October has an actual story. Not saying it's uber-original or special, but it is there. Of course it also has a bunch of comical moments and silly timing. Such as the episode where Misaki wanted to die, but ends up deciding not to go through with it she realizes she can't eat anymore of Joshua's cake then. Yeah don't live for your friends, live for cake!

More or less the city ends up under the control of Krutz the King with few exceptions. Even Joshua ends up being carded and is under control of the Sun card. While the fortune teller lady is under control of the Wheel of Fortune card. Yeah go figure that would be the case. Johan gets captured.

However thankfully an old man who has appeared earlier in the series multiple times decides to repair the Justice Card and it looks like the type of repair he does is a lot better than simply taping it like with the other cases. It was obvious someone would repair the card, but it was mainly a question of who it would be. I assumed it was going to be Johan, but apparently I was wrong.

Episode 24 ends with one of those situations where the party splits up and each one is facing her or his own battle. Most likely 25 will wrap up these battles and 26 will involve the actual battle against the King and the ending.

In any case yes Kotono does get a new transformation scene, but her outfit more less remains the same. Which is kind of disappointing because darn it. If you lose your powers and gain them back you should get a new outfit. It's the law! I hope to heck when she finally does use Judgment on Krutz, she uses a new version or the original instead of the second. A monster like him doesn't deserve any form of mercy. Besides I suspect this will be a case where destroying the source is the best way to deal with the other problems.

As I continue to wait for the final two episodes of Saint October to air I've decided to take a look back and skim the episodes to see what cards have been used. So far this is the current list and note to avoid too many spoilers I've only directly mentioned which cards are used by the three girls themselves.

Card I: Magician
Card II: High Priestess
Card IV: King
Card V: High Priest
Card VI: Lovers
Card VII: Chariot
Card VIII: Strength (Used by Misaki)
Card X: Wheel of Fortune
Card XI: Justice (Used by Kotono)
Card XVI: Tower
Card XVII: Star
Card XVIII: Moon (Used by Natsuki)
Card XIX: Sun

As you can see there are definite gaps in this list. Still I wonder if there is any reason behind choosing Moon and Strength to assist Justice over any two other cards in the list. I mean beyond being picked at random. Maybe it was just a case of luck, but perhaps there's some deeper meaning behind it that I'm over looking. Only thing I can think of is needing strength to make sure Justice is met and the Moon to guide Justice, but that may be way off base.

Edit: You know if I had commented on the episodes on a more regular basis I could have had some type of record in terms of having my name appear multiple times in a row.

As expected all four win their respective battles in their own ways. Misaki defeats the army of monsters and gets help from the Bear. Which also leads to revealing something about him. Natsuki pounds Ryouhei into the ground and has him tied up. (Heh I liked her facial expressions when she started going all out) Koushirou manages to destroy Artista's crystal ball with a bowling ball. While Kotono manages to use a new version of Judgment.

Which not only frees Joshua, but it also ends up destroying most of the other cards. Only cards still intact seem to be the ones used by the three girls, Ash, and Krutz. I did get to see that Esmeralda's card is Devil, but it was hard to read the number on it. Maybe I need to re-watch the episodes to double check to see if it appears more clearly earlier in the show.

The episode ends with Krutz turning Johan into a tablet and biting him. So the main thing left is defeating Ash and Krutz along with the epilogue stuff. Still I kind of wish Ash would have been defeated earlier. So more time could be given to the Krutz fight. Then again it would not surprise me if Ash ends up keeping some of the other characters busy. Or maybe Ash will go down rather fast.

Still Krutz has spent the entire series relying on others to do his dirty work for him through the use of the cards controlling people. So it will be interesting to see if Krutz when forced to fight himself can actually put up a real fight. Especially once Ash is put out of commission one way or the other. Either way just one more episode to go.

Krutz who has devoured Johan has absorbed his powers into himself. This leads to him teleporting the trio and eventually the three reach him. The time to battle Krutz has come. Only problem is when they try to battle him they can't.

I suppose it's because he absorbed Johan, but Krutz is able to control the three. He issues an order, his eyes glows and they obey it. Although it seems to be the type of obedience where you're aware you're being controlled, but can't stop it. It's eventually set up so Misaki and Natsuki defeat each other and Kotono is poised to kill herself.

Esmeralda comes into challenge Kotono and Krutz decides it would be better for the two to fight. Eventually Esmeralda tries to kill Krutz herself, but her Iron Maiden is turned against her and she is only saved because of Kotono. Natsuki, Kotono, and Misaki are not ready to give up. While Esmeralda is out cold and her card is finally gone. Yeah I over looked the fact it was still there in 25.

Not happy about this situation Krutz has Ash tie up Kotono with a snake. Krutz then proceeds to prepare to kill Kotono with her own sword. However Johan eventually is able to restrain Krutz which leads to a face change from Krutz's face face to Johan's face. After some discussion which also involves Ash's card vanishing and him falling to the ground. Kotono ends up reluctantly using Judgment of Johan/Krutz. This version consisting of her using her finger to paint black marks on his face. Eventually the black liquid comes down on both Johan/Krutz and Kotono.

Scene switch to Krutz being turned into a child or maybe a child was actually his true form? Krutz as a child in a King outfit meets up with Johan who is a jester type outfit. So I guess if Johan had his own card we can probably guess what it was. The King screwed over by a Jester? Johan hits Krutz as if he were a child being naughty and the two walk off together.

Natsuki and Misaki who is carrying Esmeralda leave the building while Kotono talks to Ash her father. I'm not sure Ash and Kotono said to her. However the end results seems to be that Kotono will ultimately continue to live with Joshua her uncle. Which makes since Ash was never a good father and Joshua has been raising Kotono also this time.

Also for the record yes the two characters that vanished due to being Judgment because they used damaged cards are revived in rather silly ways. Sophia literally comes up like she's some sort of plant. While Esmeralda's brother hatches from an Egg. So yeah a bit cliche, but a definite parody element there.

Fast forward scene time showing the cast getting ready to go to school. Oh yes Ryouhei more or less works for Natsuki now. She's even driving her to school. Misaki rides the bear to school. Esmeralda is also going to school being taken there by her older brother. It seems hinted at that Koushiro and Artista are now married or at least living together. Plus Ash I thinking is driving on a motorcycle for whatever reason.

The final scene involves Kotono eventually finding Johan again, but he looks a bit different. Either way she's happy. Although there is no indication what happened to Krutz himself beyond his earlier walking off with Johan during the Judgment scene. For the record the old man who healed the Justice Card in 24 after finding that Krutz was defeated ends up walking off wearing a cloak.

Honestly the ending in many ways was pretty standard I'll admit. We didn't really get to see Krutz fight directly much at all. Even to the end he still relied on others, but ultimately his power as King was to be able to dominate over all other card users so it makes since away. Still his power was not absolute since he could not completely subdue Johan which ultimately lead to Krutz being judged.

As a whole the series was pretty good. It takes a few episodes to truly get started, but around episode 05 where we first see Misaki and 06 where she officially gets introduced the show starts to pick up and continues to improve over time. In general it's not a masterpiece, but a rather solid series. So if licensed I'll definitely have to decide when to collect based on release date. Assuming it doesn't get license by a company that likes to ruin anime.

Well, its nearly a year and half after it started, but subs are finally available (at least up to episode 3, at the moment) so I can finally watch this series.

First the bad: Visually, it's mediocre at absolute best. The first epsiode was a little fast paced and you really just have to go with the flow. The girl is some funky chopper? Sure, whatever. Oh, and the bad guys' outfits look dumb. Magician boy's was actually the best of the bunch, which is rather sad.

Now the good:

One of the first things you see is the two lead girls with their faces pressed together and holding hands. This is a good way to start things. From what we've seen of them, Natsuki and Kotono are both nice girls and should be worth watching even if the plot and villains end up being complete crap.

Other points of interest:
-Kotono's nekomimi-ish headband is cute
-Natsuki has a Kotono plushie
-Magical girls that use weapons like swords and bows are a nice change from the typical magical girl baton/wand
-That was an interesting transformation sequence. Very, uh, unique. Anyway, I liked it.

Overall, its nothing great, but it looks like the series will probably be worth watching.

Well, its nearly a year and half after it started, but subs are finally available (at least up to episode 3, at the moment) so I can finally watch this series.

Wow this thread is still around? I wasn't sure if I should revive it or just start it fresh since a lot of it involves me figuratively guessing what's going on... And thus because of that is a mess and probably or rather likely has a lot of errors. Still it's nice to have an excuse to re-watch this. So far I've seen up to episode 6. Yeah that's right six and it was one of the moments I've been waiting for.
