Galaxy Angel Z has more than 9 episodes?

According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galaxy_angel), there are 9 TV boardcast episodes of Galaxy Angel Z and 18 more episodes included on the DVD release. The same goes for other seasons as well.

If that is true, how come the R1 DVD release only has the TV boardcast episodes? What happen to the rest of the episodes?

I think it's just being confusing in how the episodes are counted.

Adding up the runtimes on the 5 R2 DVDs, I get 255 minutes. The R1 notes 285 minutes on the back of the case. Accounting for the R1 probably using a longer "per episode" minute count, it seems like everything is there. Also remember, they're two "parts" per episode, which could be it too. Maybe on TV they together only counted as "1" episode of 30 mins, and on DVD they count as two.

As for the +1 bonus episode, that's on the DVDs as well.

Edit: there we go, note that it says "Broadcasts" not "Episodes" for the TV run. It was broadcast nine times... with 2 episodes each.

yeah... they seem to do that with all the seasons. It's a mean tease, haha

Galaxy Angel - 4 DVD volumes or 1 Complete Collection (13 episodes by regular standards)
Galaxy Angel Z - 3 DVD volumes or 1 Complete Collection (9 episodes)
Galaxy Angel A - 2 Complete Collections (first-half on one, second-half to be released) (1 = 14 episodes, 2 = 12?)
Galaxy Angel X - not released yet (26 episodes)

Me too. When everything in life is sucking harder than a category 5 hurricane, I just put in some Galaxy Angel and it's all better.
