With the exception of Sora Naegino, the Kaleido Star girls are doing surprisingly well in this tournament. Not bad for a series that in my view doesn't have what you consider moe-type characters.

In one way surprised Sora lost so early because she did so surprisingly well last year, but mostly so far it's been quite a good tournament in terms of characters I see as moe actually doing well (though Becky's defeat to Hawkeye surprised me)...
