AmeCon 2007 - Leicester, England - August 10-12

The fine fellows of the AmeCon Convention Committee have stepped in to fill a void and announced AmeCon 2007 (http://www.amecon.org) which will be taking place at the University of Leicester from August 10th to August 12th 2007. Their website isn't expected to be fully operational until at least next weekend, but they do have a forum online where some further information about the convention can be found at this time.

Registration (http://www.amecon.org/register.php) is now available online for AmeCon 2007, but due to unprecedented demand there's already been around 500 people signing up within just 36 hours! If you're planning to go, hurry over to their website and get signed up now! Also coming soon on their website will be details of the new onsite accommodation at Opal Court, located closer to the main con site (it's in Lancaster Road just opposite University Road).
