New Fate/Stay Night PS2 game will wrap up main story

Not sure if I should put this in here or in General Anime but as a Type Moon fan it's newsworthy none the less. ANS is reporting that Realta will wrap up the main storyline in the Fate story. The thing to remember though is like Tsukihime you can branch off into different endings and etc. But here is the quote from ANS:

2-10-07 (6:05PM EST)---- PS2 Game Will Wrap Fate/stay night Storyline
The forthcoming PS2 game Fate/stay night Realta will conclude the proper mainline Fate story. Type Moon is working on some new undisclosed project related to Fate however.

I want to say that the new Fate project is Fate/Zero (http://www.fate-zero.com/) which is supposed to be a prequel with Type Moon working with Nitro Plus but don't quote me on that.

I usually scrape bits and pieces of the story and news from various sites as I can't read Japanese. It's still interesting to see that Type Moon is going to finish off the main arc in Fate/Stay Night.

True, and we do have The fansites to always read to find about type moon. Moonlit world has been my way to undersand what is left out of the Anime's for Fate and Tsukihime.

I thought the original game already had an ending to wrap everything up. I think it was the Unlimited Blade Works scenario that was supposed to be the proper ending that properly ended everything.

Maybe they're going to put a "bow" on it. As you said the game seemed to wrap itself up decently but maybe they're going to give it a "final ending" after the events that happened at the end of UBW.

The main Tsukihime ending had kind of that "blarghy" feeling after everything happened also. Well, thank god it's Type Moon doing it and not some contracted company just throwing whatever in for the PS2 game.

Just out of curiosity...Anyone know how much invovlvement Type/Moon will have regarding the F/SN wrap-up? I have being seeing that they will not have much involvement at all.

Well I would assume that they're right there with the PS2 game seeing that it's basically Fate with all of the sex scenes removed and some new stills and goodies. So I would be to worried about someone else coming in and finishing the story.
