Rei's done some surprising roles as well as her usual superbly voice acted mature ones.

My favourite characters; Rei (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=853) has voice acted are equally; Kazumi in Gunbuster, Peorth in AMG & Ms Sumeragi in Agent Aika.

About as sexy as twentysomething+ mature women can sound in anime.

Jiji in Kiki was a surprise! Dr Ren in Najica should not have been.

Shampoo in Ranma, April in Sol Bianca, & Leona in New Dominion all tempt some re-watching.

Ooohhhh....Peorth. Quite a favorite role of mine from a bit overlooked seiyuu.

The first role I associated her with was Nina Purpleton from Gundam 0083. Still a favorite of mine.
