Sayo Aizaka (Negima) - Ana is the only character I can stand in Strawberry, but Sayo-chan still gets the better here...
Nerine (Shuffle!) vs. Tsuruya (Mel. of HaruSuzu) vs. Kozue Aoba (Mahoraba ~Heartful Days~) - ABSTAINED

Normally I would agree (Azmaria's character didn't do much for me), but this would be one of the rare rounds I do vote for her. I don't really think Eva fits in with this contest that much, though arguably any Negima girl is moe.

I'm really hoping Kozue will make it through this round, but she's got some tough competition.

For the Western matches, my votes went to Azmaria Hendric and Sayo Aizaka. In the Eva vs. Az match, while I love both of these girls, the concept of moe more accurately applies to Az than to Eva. Plus I'll always have a mutual respect for Az because she was the character that turned me into a Jessica Boone fan. In the case of Sayo vs. Ana Coppola, it was pretty easy for me to choose Sayo simply because based on watching the first episode of Strawberry Marshmallow on a Newtype USA sampler DVD last year, those characters bored me to tears.

For the Eastern matches, I voted for Kozue Aoba and Ama Shigure.

I must confess, I base my Negima votes on the manga since I only saw the first episode of the Xebec anime. I can't say how much the anime delved into her character or situation, but her manga counterpart can qualify as moe fairly easily. Just 'cuz you kick ass doesn't mean you can't be moe.

So out of the ones we have left, there is Eruru (who I hope crushes Tsuruya), and else I got to hope Yuki and Haruka make it to next round. I'll begin to lose interest if they start to drop out.
