I was waiting for this as I loved the first Mercenaries to death and still play it. I saw it over at Kotaku that it mentioned:

Well, we already knew about the 360 version...but it's an interesting choice to bring it to the PC (of which 1 never made it to) and the PS2.

I loved playing Mercenaries as well...can't say it had long-lasting replay value (aside from blowing damn near everything up), but it was fun nonetheless. :sd:

Mercenaries was favorite game two years ago. I bought Crackdown because it had similar themes.
Now that Mercenaries 2 is coming out for X360, This is now my most 2nd most anticipated game this year (Smash Bros Brawl is #1, Halo 3 is #3)

I'm really looking forward to this. I loved the first one. I bummed there's no PS3 version tho. I don't own a 360 (yet :> ). It will probably be the PC version for me. I'll have to see what the PS2 version looks like.

Uhhhhhh...the PS3 version was the first one announced. The 360 was later announced...and now the PC and PS2 versions are confirmed, as well.
