My wife and I got our DSes about a montha and a half before the Lite was announced. While we both agreed the Lite was an improvement in brighness and color, we didn't like the idea of trading in the systems we'd only had a couple months for Lites. So we waited.

We finally traded in one after almost a year, mainly because one of the stores had a special going for a little extra on trade-ins. FInally finding a non-pink one in stock, I traded hers in for a Lite.

Now after sitting down and playing with it for a while I'm noticing a LOT of image ghosting that just isn't there on the old DS. I've gone back and forth between the old and the Lite just to confirm it wasn't something I was seeing before.

Do all the Lites have this problem? It's the kind of thing people used to complain about all the time on LCD monitors before the improved, so I'm surprised I've never read complaints about it before, and can't find any such criticisms elsewhere.

Yeah, the ghosting on the Lite is pretty bad... still, it's a big improvement over the previous DS because of the brightness and color. Does kinda suck though.

I haven't seen any ghosting on my DS Lite, so I'll say no, it's not on all of them. Out of curiosity, which screen?

I see it on both, but it's worse on the touch screen. It's much easier to see on like a 2-d platformer, especially one with heavy black outlines on the sprites. Yoshi's Island was the game I was playing when I first noticed it. Since Chacranajxy has seen it too, I'll just accept that it's part and parcel with the Lite. It's one of those things that's subject to individual tolerance afterall.
