We're now ready to enter the second half of the voting process, so it just makes things that much tighter now! And it's still possible for anyone to win, so be sure to vote for your favorites today! ^_^

The Shortlist:

Eri Sachikawa (School Rumble)
Natsuki Kuga (My-Hime)
Suiseiseki (Rozen Maiden)

Wow, a very short shortlist this time. But that doesn't make it any easier, argh. I don't want to remove any of these... In the end, I had to drop Natsuki, although it pains me terribly to do so. Sigh~ Eri and Suiseiseki it is!

Hmm... pretty easy round for me. Utena was an easy pick, since that was the series that pulled me into a shoujo preference. As for the other... none of them really resonated with me, so I went with Mika, since her reactions are just so cute to her teasing... :>

Well the ying part of my vote was a little tougher this time around, but the yang was easy period.

So I just went with dark birds of a feather Gendo (Evangelion) and Princess Kraehe (Princess Tutu).

Just call them THE GOTH SQUAD or my little broody broods.

Syaoran is my first pick.
I'm not really a big fan of anybody else in this round, but I went with Mugen.

My votes for Round 6:

Sango The Demon Slayer (InuYasha)
Michelle Cheung (R.O.D. The TV)

Vote for Sango! :)

SAWANOGUCHI!!!
Hope she does well (since I'm in the mood, I will even change my avatar in support)

The second choice is difficult, but my current watching of Tutu has me wanting to vote Kraehe, so I did. Two great Ikuko Itoh characters for this round.

Utena, Suiseiseki, and Eri are deserving of votes too, and I would vote CCS Syaoran. Not Tsubasa Shaoran, though...

After lunch, it’s time for a dip in the pool. Mika-sensei is filling in to teach P.E. today and she has just used Hinako’s aura sucking technique to change into an adult body. Mika announces to the girls that there will be a race with several of the other participants of this round for the second vote this round. Imari, Osaka, and Haruka are in the first three lanes with some of the other competitors in the other five lanes. The race begins with Osaka playing dead in the water and Imari tripping Mika-sensei into the pool where Mika reverts back to normal. “That was for sending Hinako-sensei after me at lunch,” Imari yelled as she was swimming down the first lane.

At the end of the race, the winner was in lane three. But when she came out of the pool, Misato noticed something odd about the swimmer. She knew that the swimmer in lane three was not Haruka. At that point, Becky-sensei had just contacted Misato on her cell phone and told her that Haruka was lying in the rabbit hutch. Haruka was feeling down after learning of her downfall in the Moe Tournament. Becky told Haruka to cheer up. “You did well to get that far in the Moe Tourney. My round in this draft just ended and I did all right.” Becky said. Misato told Becky to put Haruka on the phone and asked her, “Who is here at the pool in your place?” Haruka replied, “It’s my sister, Akane. She had seen me feeling down in the hall and asked to switch places with me. I’m sorry if I troubled you, Misato.”

Washu had overheard the whole conversation and decided to declare Akane the winner anyway. Washu was glad that Haruka made that decision to sit out of the pool race in order to keep anyone outside the house from finding out about the enhancements that Washu had been making to Haruka’s body. So the round six votes go to Mika-sensei (Doki Doki School Hours) and Akane Suzumiya (KimiNozo/Rumbling Hearts).

You might want to change Micheal to MICHELLE if you can (in the poll). I thought it was somebody different, so she didn't get my vote.

Mugen and Natsuki. Sorry, Sango.

Unfortunately, I can't edit polls once they're created. However, I do go by the players' posts. Going by ibby's pick in this thread (http://www.animeondvd.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/16219/tp/12/), it was spelled as Micheal, and since I've not seen this series, I read it as a misspelling of Michael, and went with that.

*steals Disarm's shortlist idea*

Shortlist:
Mika Suzuki (Doki Doki School Hours)
Natsuki Kuga (Mai-Hime)
Sae Sawanoguchi (Magic Users Club)
Utena Tenjou (Utena)

Natsuki was an automatic. The second vote really came down between Sae and Utena, and I just had to go with Utena.

Now if it would have been Akane instead of Sae...

Hm, round 5 still is in the side bar but six isn't? Weird.

Voted for myself so I don't fall anymore places and the lovely Princess Kraehae

Well, you can only run one at a time, and Round 5 was there long before. I'm not sure how the forums handle choosing which poll takes the spot when multiple are marked "load to sidebar". Maybe Chris decides?

You can overwrite an existing poll on the right sidebar with another one as long as you click on the "Add poll from this post to the portal" option on the initial post of the new thread.

Anyway, Akane and Sango were my votes, though it was tough to choose Sango over both Sae and Rue. :sd:

This will probably be my weakest round, but nice to know got one vote for Oujo. Vote the best bitch since Izumi Himuro in Eri-chan!

Second vote for once wasn't hard at all as no coin toss required - voted for one of the greatest anagonists I've watched in years with Princess Kraehe.

Haruko and Sae for me. This was one of the harder rounds to decide on with a few close choices.

Only three people I'd even consider voting for in this round, so sorry Princess Kraehe, but my vote goes to the girl with the guitar and the girl with the child.

People passing on Sae and Kraehe ->

Let's show some respect for the genius of Junichi Sato and his awesome characters on his birthday. ;) Ah well, in any case, I hope they do decent.

No surprise that voting was down for this poll, but still an interesting result.

Congrats coach cairbear! When you took Utena did you think she was going to do so well? I believe both of us were surprised she lasted so long, so how pleased are you with this result?

Voting was indeed down, but ah well. My two picks (Suiseiseki and Eri) were pretty middle of the pack here, though I thought Suiseiseki would do better. Probably would have if Rozen were out on DVD already. Ah well.

Congrats to Utena and cairbear!

Thanks to all who voted for Haruko.

I can't help but wonder how Jin or Mugen would have done had only one of them be in the round...

And the scores are updated. Should I be concerned that only 1/3 of the positions didn't change- the top 2 and the bottom 4? Scores are still razor-thin for part of the mid-range spots, even to the point of there being a tie for 7th place at present.

Very pleasant surprise Eri being in the middle of the pack, some Sukuran love for the last couple of rounds so thanks for the Oujou votes!

Good performance by Kraehe as well, though the top two were no surprise...:)

So Famicom and Lumberjack are right on top of each other... Hmm that sounds kind of wrong...

and the jostling in the middle... geez.... I remain solidly near the bottom right under the middle....
